How might we live if we all practice AHIMSA - non-violence towards ourselves and others.
John Lennon wrote in his song IMAGINE
"...Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion, too
Imagine all the people Livin' life in peace?

No one likes the result of any type of violence yet it seems that it is in the midst of valor, we become intensely present in our lives.
Yoga gives us the opportunity to be grateful and happy every day through practice and letting go of what no longer serves us.
Obstacles we all encounter are stated in Yoga Sutra 1:30.
"disease, mental inertia, doubt, carelessness, sloth, inability to withdraw from sense cravings, clinging to misunderstanding, inability to reach the goal (samadhi/bliss), and inability to retain it throw our mind outward.."
Yoga Sutra 1:32 tells us
"Meditation on one single reality is the way to overcome obstacles."
How might we memorialize those who practice meditation in work, schools, police and military?
Journal what you are grateful for today living in peace and love. Some suggestions are listed below. We tend to remember the hurt put upon us (real or imagined) throughout the years. It takes daily gratitude to bring us back to the present. Every day of gratitude brings us tomorrow's peace.
